The Ford Edge

The Ford Edge is a two-row, five-passenger crossover SUV. Ford offers it in a wide range of trim levels, with interior features that range from the basics to sporty. The entry-level SE has cloth upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, and a 60/40 split rear seat with a folding center armrest. Moving up to higher trims adds features such as simulated leather upholstery or genuine leather, power-adjustable and heated front seats, and ventilated front seats. The ST-Line is a sporty version of the Edge and comes with ActiveX faux leather upholstery, red accent stitching, and a wireless charging pad.

The Ford Explorer

The Ford Explorer is a family-friendly three-row SUV in the Ford lineup. It can serve as a family hauler or a rugged off-road traveler. It also comes in several different trims starting with the Base. This model begins the lineup of interior features with tri-zone automatic climate control, a 35/30/35 split-folding second-row bench seat, and a 50/50 split third-row seat. Second-row captain’s chairs come in the higher trims, and if you have the sporty ST-Line. It has black interior trim elements and simulated leather upholstery with microfiber inserts to make it stand out from the other models.

Like most other Ford models, the Explorer has the latest technology features. An 8-inch touch screen sits in the dashboard’s center and works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A six-speaker stereo is the entry-level system, but you can upgrade to a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system. Integrated navigation with voice controls is available, along with wireless smartphone charging. The Explorer offers a 10.1-inch touch screen in the higher-level trims, and these also have a 14-speaker stereo system.

The Ford Bronco

The Ford Bronco is the ultimate off-road adventurer. It offers unique interior design elements and features you don’t get in other Ford models. The Base trim has cloth upholstery, manually-adjustable front seats, and a digital instrument panel. The Black Diamond model has rubber flooring to make cleaning it out after a muddy ride quick and easy, and it has marine-grade vinyl upholstery. The Big Bend adds some extra features, such as a console-mounted grab handle on the passenger side, and it has tinted second-row and rear windows.

Some of the technology you can get with the Bronco include a 12-inch infotainment touch screen, extra sound-deadening, and an integrated navigation system. A wireless smartphone charging pad, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and push-button start are also available.

The Ford Expedition

You get into full-size SUV territory with the Ford Expedition. This massive SUV has three rows of seats, and even the third row has plenty of room for adults to sit comfortably. The Expedition has 20.9 cubic feet of storage space behind the third row, but if you fold this row down, it opens up to 57.5 cubic feet.

Standard interior features you’ll get with the Expedition include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Tri-zone automatic climate control comes in the XLT and above, making it easy to regulate the heat and air conditioning throughout the cabin. These trims also come with an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

The Timberline is a new Expedition trim for the 2022 model year. It comes with a power-adjustable passenger seat, power-folding second and third rows, and a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel. You’ll get genuine leather upholstery in the higher-end Expedition models, and these also have heated second-row seats and the option for second-row captain’s chairs instead of a bench seat. You can get the Expedition with massaging and ventilated front seats for an even more luxurious feel.

The steering wheel comes standard with button controls for the Bluetooth, audio, and cruise control for the driver’s convenience, and it also has little perks, such as illuminated vanity mirrors on the sliding sun visors.

The Expedition has plenty of tech features, especially in the higher trims. These get a 15.5-inch infotainment screen, a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 22-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system. The SYNC 4 infotainment system comes with all trim levels and features enhanced voice recognition software.

The Ford F-150

The Ford F-150 pickup truck offers drivers everything from a basic work truck without extra frills in the cabin to a luxury family hauler with all the bells and whistles. Inside the base XL trim, you’ll find vinyl flooring, single-zone air conditioning, and a 4-inch driver information display. It also has a front bench seat.

It doesn’t take much to get more in the F-150. A step up to the XLT adds power windows and door locks, carpeting on the floor, and cloth upholstery. Leather upholstery comes in the rest of the lineup, including power-adjustable front seats with heat and ventilation. Power-adjustable pedals are a nice added feature in the Lariat trim, and moving up even higher adds heated rear seats and a power-tilt and telescoping steering wheel column.

The Limited is the top-level trim F-150. It has specialized leather upholstery, massaging front seats, and an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system. Other tech features in the F-150 include a 12-inch touch screen for the infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a wireless smartphone charging pad.
